Terms and Conditions of Francine Studios
§ 1 Scope of Application
These Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts between Francine Studios (Owner: Eve Francine Wendorf, Finkenschlag 44, 16321 Bernau, Germany) and clients for:

Personal style consultations

Personal shopping services
-
Individual style concepts (lookbooks)
-
Styling services for photo and video shoots
-
Styling services for runways
-
Styling for events, trade fairs and presentations
Services are provided both online and on-site.
§ 2 Scope of Services
Francine Studios offers the following services:

Personal style consultation via video call (e.g. Google Meet), email, WhatsApp, iMessage, or in person
-
Personal shopping (including product research, purchasing on behalf of the client, wardrobe organization, and styling of existing and new pieces)
-
Creation of customized PDFs/lookbooks with styling concepts and product recommendations
-
Styling for photo and video productions
-
Research and sourcing of clothing and accessories
-
Coordination with photographers, locations, and other service providers
-
Post-production and documentation of styling results
Francine Studios reserves the right to adapt or expand the scope of services based on individual agreements.
§ 3 Contract Conclusion and Payment

3.1 Personal Styling Services:
Booking is done via the contact form, followed by an exchange via WhatsApp, iMessage or E-Mail and then a video call. After clarifying individual needs, the client receives an email with a link to the Terms and Conditions and payment link, with which the customer agrees to them. Services begin only after full payment has been received.
3.2 Creative Project Styling:
For styling services for creative projects, an individual contract is drawn up by Francine Studios, which must be signed by both parties before work begins.

3.3 Payment Terms:

All payments are due within 14 calendar days from the invoice date without deduction

§ 4 Client Cooperation Obligations
The client provides the necessary cooperation services as an essential contractual obligation in a timely and complete manner, in particular:

Provision of complete and consistent information about style preferences, sizes, budget and preferences
-
For on-site appointments: access to wardrobe and appropriate facilities
-
For online consultations: functioning internet connection and appropriate technical equipment
-
Timely communication of change requests or special requirements
-
Complete briefing on shoot concept, target group and desired style direction (for creative projects)
-
Timely provision of size charts for all persons to be styled (for creative projects)
-
Access to shooting location for advance inspection (for creative projects)
-
Coordination with other involved service providers (photographer, hairstylist, etc.)
Delays resulting from late or insufficient cooperation do not lead to claims against Francine Studios.

§ 5 Cancellation and Rebooking

After the start of service provision, cancellation is excluded
-
There is no possibility to reduce the total payment amount for the complete service if the client does not continue the service; recovery of payments already made is excluded
-
Cancellation must be made in writing.

For on-site appointments, cancellation is free of charge up to 7 days before the agreed date.
-
In case of cancellation less than 7 days before the appointment, 50 % of the agreed fee will be charged.
-
Online video appointments can be cancelled or postponed free of charge up to 2 hours before the start.

Rebooking is possible, provided Francine Studios has the opportunity to rebook any flights, hotels or other costs that may have been booked.

The client bears any resulting cancellation costs or other expenses.

In the event of force majeure (e.g. illness, strikes, weather), both parties will attempt to find an alternative solution; however, Francine Studios is not obliged to refund third-party costs.

If the client is more than 30 minutes late for an on-site or online appointment without notice, the appointment may be considered a no-show.

Francine Studios reserves the right to charge the full fee in such cases.

If Francine Studios must cancel an appointment for unforeseen reasons (e.g. illness), an alternative date will be proposed. If no replacement date is possible, any advance payment will be fully refunded. Further claims are excluded.
§ 6 Confidentiality
Francine Studios undertakes to maintain confidentiality about all personal information, preferences and private circumstances of the client. This information is used exclusively for the agreed style consultation and is not passed on to third parties. The confidentiality obligation continues beyond the termination of the contract.

Absolute confidentiality about business internals, strategies and unpublished projects

No publication of shoot material without express consent

Signing of additional confidentiality agreements if required

All photos taken of the client during styling sessions or in styled looks will remain confidential and will not be used or published without the client’s explicit consent.
§ 7 Liability and Warranty

Francine Studios assumes no liability for damages arising from the use of the consultation or recommended products.

Francine Studios does not act as a seller, but mediates third-party products if applicable. Contractual relationships are established exclusively between client and retailer.

There is no guarantee for return or exchange of products.

Francine Studios does not purchase products itself, therefore product liability does not apply.

The client makes purchasing decisions independently. Recommendations within the framework of style consultation do not constitute an invitation to purchase.

Francine Studios assumes no guarantee for the return of products. Return deadlines and conditions are the responsibility of the respective retailers.

After completion of the service, the contract is fulfilled. Claims due to dissatisfaction or other "consequential damages" are excluded.

Liability is limited to intent and gross negligence and is limited to the amount of the agreed remuneration.

Liability for damage to borrowed or rented clothing is assumed by the client.
-
Francine Studios is not liable for production delays by third parties.
-
Francine Studios is not responsible for production outcomes, marketing success or press coverage resulting from styled content.
§ 8 Usage Rights and Image Rights
8.1 Usage Rights:
The client receives, upon full payment, the simple, irrevocable right to use the provided lookbooks and style recommendations for personal or business purposes. Distribution to third parties or commercial use is excluded.
8.2 Image Rights:

Francine Studios reserves the right to use images of styling work for portfolio purposes

Publication only takes place after prior consultation and approval

Client may prohibit use for portfolio
§ 9 Small Business Regulation / VAT
Francine Studios is exempt from VAT as a small business owner within the meaning of § 19 UStG. If the turnover limit is exceeded, VAT will be shown accordingly.
§ 10 Choice of Law and Jurisdiction
German law applies. Place of jurisdiction is, as far as legally permissible, Bernau near Berlin.
§ 11 Final Provisions
Changes and additions to these Terms and Conditions require written form. Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by one that comes closest to the economic intent.

Payments are processed via third-party providers (e.g. PayPal, Stripe, Klarna), whose own privacy policies apply.
